Highland Square Branch Library opened in 1930 in a house near Highland Square and moved to its present location in March 1956.(West Hill Library)
The building was in use until July of 2005 when the branch was closed and the collection put in storage for a year in order to tear down the building and replace it with a new, 12,000 square foot library on the same site.
