Not only is Kate a skilled performance artist specializing in modern circus, poetry, dance, and storytelling, but she is a mother, partner, sister, daughter, and fierce social justice activist.
She has performed and facilitated workshops all around the U.S. and Mexico to include circus-styling multi-hooping, juggling, balancing acts, poetry, and dance since 2013. Kate believes in the power of storytelling, culture, and movement to create capacity for social change, and impact in our communities with a call to action.
When Kate isn’t performing or teaching, she is a Prospect & Research Strategist at the Opportunity Agenda in NYC. This social justice org challenges harmful narratives about marginalized communities, especially in the media, and support artists through fellowship programs. They also provide messaging guidance for journalists, filmmakers, artists, and influencers.
