Linda Everhard

My love for fabric started when I was seven years old. Throughout the years I have had to put my creativity on hold. I am now at a point in my life that I can create full-time. I am fortunate to have a studio at Summit Art Space. I use many different mediums but my true passion is working with fibers. Fabric has a magical quality for me. I love the creative challenge of manipulating and embellishing fabric to design a unique piece that makes a statement. I use yarn, crystals and thread to enhance the allure of my work. I can take bits and pieces and arrange them to create an imaginary place where colors, shapes and sizes reflect the beauty of the world. The world is a harsh place and I want my art to express the splendor that is around us that we forget to see.
