Mac Love

Mac Love is an international artist, brand consultant, and the Chief Catalyst at Art x Love, LLC, a creative courage company based in Akron, OH. Mac’s work has always been a reaction to his environment, which has spanned 29 years of professional practice in the United States, Scotland, Japan, and Singapore. He is a die-hard Cleveland Sports fan, and responsible for the “Believeland” chalk murals that reignited interest and development of Cleveland’s Flats East Bank from 2014-2017. Mac is most recently known for @PLAY, a Knight Cities grant project that explored every street in Akron’s 24 neighborhoods, and produced 93 interactive art challenges with 168 local artists and 5,288 creative participants. He is proud to call Akron home, and happy to support our creative economy. Mac believes in the health of art, and uses a unique combination of brand equity analysis to help his clients embrace change and connect to people in meaningful ways.
