Rubber City Theatre is accepting submissions for the available tracks below in Romeo and Juliet. We are casting local non-union actors. You may be asked to submit a video audition.

Submissions: We will be accepting headshots and resumes through 3/1/19. Please email them to casting@rubbercitytheatre.com.

Non-AEA contracts:

Adult Non-AEA Contracts will pay $90 - $100 stipend, depending on the track for the production.

Rehearsals: Please note rehearsals are typically Monday through Thursday from 6:30-10:00pm, and Sundays from 4:00-9:00pm. The final week of rehearsal will end of Wednesday and tech will begin on Saturday 2:00-6:00pm followed by a Sunday from 4:00-9:00pm. At the beginning of the week leading into opening, we will have Monday off. Performances are typically Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm, and Sunday at 2:30pm.

We will only allow a couple conflicts during the rehearsal process, no conflicts during tech and show run.

Venue: This show’s rehearsal and performance location is 2207 Romig Rd. Akron, OH 44320.

One of the greatest love stories of all time returns to our stage in an all new production. Romeo, a Montague falls in love with Juliet, a Capulet and rival family to his. They defy all odds to be together but fate intervenes in this tragic play.

Peter/Balthazar/Servant/Citizen: M or F, any ethnicity, 20s-30s
Abram/Servant/Citizen/Paris' Page: M or F, any ethnicity, 20s-30s
Paris/Gregory/Citizen: M, any ethnicity, 20s-30s
