Kenmore Neighborhood Alliance, an Ohio Main Street Downtown Affiliate in Akron, OH, seeks a creative, promotional-minded VISTA to help grow the build the capacity of our organization by developing opportunities for financial partnership and encourage economic vitality in the Kenmore Boulevard business district economic by helping to identify and promote economic opportunity. He/she will help to develop a Main Street-style membership program that increase revenue for our mission and connects supporters more closely to the mission of our organization. Second, the VISTA will track vital economic data to help our board, staff and committee members more nimbly match retail vacancies with economic opportunities. Through business, property and employee data collection, the VISTA will help us to ensure economic growth is appropriate to both the buildings and the neighborhood we serve. Finally, the VISTA will help to promote and attract entrepreneurial activity with Kenmore First Fridays.

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
