The 2022 “State of the County Address” given by Executive Ilene Shapiro will be held at the John S. Knight Center on Wednesday October 19th. This year the County is honored to have local visual artists display their work on easels during the address in the hallways of the venue.
ArtsNow is seeking artists to participate in this endeavor and is issuing an open call to Summit County artists to submit their work for the one day event. Below we have the artist and artwork criteria, application and timeline for all interested to apply. I have attached a graphic below to share on your social media platforms.
Criteria
-One submission per artist
-All artists must be 18 and over and live in Summit County
-Artwork must be created in the last 3 years
-Visual 2d works no smaller than 11in. x 17in. and no bigger than 48in. x 60in.
-Visual 3d work no bigger than 6ft tall and 3ft wide and stand alone
Timeline
Applications are due September 16, 2022
Selected Artists will be notified by September 23, 2022
