If you know an artist who has something amazing to share with the world, take a look at the Battle of the Teal, a performing and visual arts competition for K–12 students, and now also adult artists, from Northeast Ohio.
Applicants will now have the option to submit their entry virtually through a dedicated iN Education’s online portal via SlideRoom. The application opens on Sept 7th, submission deadline is Oct 5th. Registration is FREE for school-bound art students and $10 for adult artists over the age 18. If you are under 13, be sure to have your parents or guardian available.
All artists should submit a concise portfolio of their best work created within the last twelve months. Review the showcase Playbook HERE.. Be sure to watch a short video embedded on the SlideRoom portal before starting the application.
The winners will be announced via live stream on Wednesday, Oct 28, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
Battle of the Teal builds a platform for emerging and professional artists who wish to further develop in the arts of their selected form, boost their confidence levels, and experience what it’s like to present their masterpieces and/or themselves in front of an audience. Great prizes will be awarded.
