Description

Primarily responsible for the financial management of all events and box office revenues.

Examples of Duties 

Directly responsible to the General Manager.
Responsible to be totally trustworthy at all times in all financial responsibilities.
Responsible to supervise and schedule the Assistant Ticket Office Managers, the Ticket Office Staff and, in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
Responsible to be thoroughly familiar with the Park phone system, and to train other Ticket Office Staff on same.
Responsible to present a friendly, professional attitude when on the phone, and when dealing with customers at the Ticket Office window.
Responsible to be thoroughly familiar with the Ticketmaster system, and to help train other Ticket Office Staff members on same.
Responsible for training the Ticket Office Staff, as necessary, in proper procedures for ticket sales and use of the Ticketmaster system, as well as in methods of dealing with the public.
Responsible to act as a liaison between daily operations of the Ticket Office and Ticketmaster.
Responsible to make daily deposits and account for all sales.
Responsible for proper Ticket Office record-keeping.
Responsible for the preparation of appropriate reports as requested by the General Manager.
Responsible to help develop and carry out policies as they relate to ticket sales and relations with the general public.
Responsible for general supervision of patron problems and questions as they relate to Ticket Office procedures and ticket sales.
Responsible to promote, generate and process group sales and group sales requests and tickets, along with the rest of the Ticket Office staff.
Responsible to assist the General Manager in scheduling the Ticket Office Staff for concession sales, and to help supervise, or assign appropriate staff to supervise settlement at the end of the event with assistance from the General Manager.
Responsible to be on-site for all Evans Amphitheater major events, and to insure that both the Evans and Alma Ticket Offices are appropriately covered by sufficient Ticket Office Staff people, who are aware of the requirements of the position, and are familiar enough with the Ticketmaster system to deal in an efficient manner with the patrons.
Maintain high safety levels at all times for Park patrons, volunteers and employees.
Responsible to maintain a professional atmosphere within the Cain Park Ticket Office.
Run all requested sales reports for touring personnel as requested.
Schedule weekly meetings with the Ticket Office Staff to keep them up to date with the goings on at the park.
Work in conjunction with the Public Relations Manager to adequately educate the ticket office staff on the artists performing at Cain Park and ticket sales numbers of each event to assist with marketing.
 

Typical Qualifications 

College graduate or 2-4 years professional experience in related field a must.
Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
(2) years previous management preferably in a retail environment
Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts
 Valid Ohio Driver's License
