White Rabbit Galleries is pleased to announce its next juried exhibition! The title of the show is “Creative Folk: Artwork inspired by Fairy tales, Folklore, and Fables.”
$10 submission fee per piece. Up to three pieces can be submitted.
Fairy tales are timeless and enchanting narratives that have captivated audiences of all ages for centuries. These imaginative stories typically feature magical elements, mythical creatures, and moral lessons, making them a unique genre of folklore. Fairy tales often transport readers and listeners to fantastical realms inhabited by princesses, witches, talking animals, and brave heroes on epic quests. These tales explore universal themes of good versus evil, the triumph of virtue, and the enduring power of love. One of the defining characteristics of fairy tales is their ability to transcend cultural boundaries, resonating with people from diverse backgrounds around the world.
All media accepted. Three cash prizes will be offered for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Honorable mentions handed out by discretion of the judge/jury.
Deadline to submit is October 11th, 2023 by 11pm.
ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE ONLY.
