Stewart’s Caring Place, a cancer wellness center serving 22 counties in Ohio, is thrilled to announce its hosting Kaleidoscope, an exhibition for local creatives and artists, which will be on display in its Healing Arts Gallery from March 30 to Aug. 1, 2023.
During 2023, Stewart’s Caring Place is honoring its 20th anniversary, and Kaleidoscope will be a part of honoring the lives of those impacted by the nonprofit. During the exhibition, those visiting will see the variety of ways people find strength and inspiration on their healing journey through art.

Interested in submitting your work? The team is looking for finalized photographs, poems, drawings, paintings, and keepsakes that tell a story. Participants do not have to be professional artists to participate—this exhibit is open to all. Additionally, if the art piece is for sale, the entire sale of the art piece goes directly to the artist. To submit, visit Stewart’s Caring Place website.
“We know the power of art for a community, for inspiration, and for healing,” states Jeannine Marks, President & CEO of Stewart’s Caring Place. “With hundreds of individuals and families walking through our doors monthly, we're honored to host these works of art that honor the stories and people we’re so grateful to serve.”

Guidelines for submission:
Only one submission per person (may not exceed 6 ft. in length or height or weigh more than 40 lbs.)
Work must be ready to hang
Entries may include a 400-word statement about the work or artist
Art will be displayed for 3-4 months
100 percent of the proceeds from sales will go to the artist

Participants are encouraged to draft a brief statement about what their art submission means to them (i.e. relevance, memory, experience, feeling, etc.). Submissions will be reviewed by the Stewart’s Caring Place team, and artists will be notified of selection by the deadline, March 17, 2023.
“The goal of this exhibit is to showcase and share the diverse ways that people find the strength and inspiration to heal,” says Mac Love, Co-Founder of Art x Love and curator for Stewart’s Healing Arts Gallery. “We want people who don’t think of themselves as artists to share the keepsakes and mementos that have helped them and their loved ones overcome, persevere, and find peace. This exhibit is open to everyone, and we can’t wait to see what people choose to share.”
