Canton Museum of Art is seeking professional artists who are up for a creative challenge! Artists must at least 21 years old to apply to this FREE call. Go to http://www.cantonart.org/paradise for more information or to apply. Online applications are due Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Midnight.

Up to twenty artists will be selected to create works of art for the upcoming "gARTen of Earthly Delights" gala on August 27, 2016.

Each selected artist will create one original work of art based on their interpretation of the theme "paradise." The finished (unframed) artwork will be 10” x 10” in size and will be donated as a silent auction item during the Museum fundraiser. All artwork bids will start at $150 with all proceeds donated to help the Museum carry out their mission to educate, engage, and entertain through the visual arts.

In exchange for the donated artwork, participating artists will receive two complimentary tickets to the event (A $250 value) which includes unlimited food, cocktails, and an opportunity to connect with the Museum’s finest patrons.

Submission deadline is Sunday, June 5, 2016 and artists will be notified no later than June 10, 2016 if they have been selected to create a 10 x 10 artwork.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
