Negative Space is proud to announce a Battle of the Bands Contest held on Friday, November 24 from 7:00p-11:30p.

The contest is open to 10 Northeast Ohio ensembles and soloists, accepted in chronological order of submission up until the deadline of November 18 at 11:59p .

Performers must first express their interest through the Negative Space website at www.Negativespacecleveland.com and finalize the entry agreement in person. Entrance fees are $100 for solo act and $150 for a band.

The winner of the contest is selected exclusively by the audience, who will vote for their favorite act.

The prize package is valued at $3,250 and includes the following:

● 3-hour concert held at Negative Space (date to be determined);

● Photo shoot of the winning ensemble/soloist by Perkoski Photography;

● EP cover art and graphic design by Ari;

● EP Recording, Mixing, Tracking & Mastering by Positive Vibes Recording Studio.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
