CALL FOR ENTRIES: Winter Exhibition

DATES: Friday, January 19, 2024, 10-3 pm & Saturday, January 20, 2024, 10-2 pm

LOCATION: Cuyahoga Valley Art Center – Main Gallery

The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC) seeks to highlight the creative abilities of participating artists throughout the winter season. The theme of the artwork is not limited to winter-related subjects; instead, CVAC aims to showcase the diverse range of interests and explorations present in recent paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and works on paper created by participants. This exhibition is organized into seven distinct categories for submission: Watercolor Media, Water-Based Media, Oil-Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media, and Photographic Media. Submissions will be accepted:

Friday, January 19, from 10-3 pm

Saturday, January 20, from 10-2 pm

The cost is $10 per entry; No more than 3 entries will be accepted per artist.

This popular annual juried exhibition opens on Tuesday, January 23, and runs through February 29, 2024. The public is invited to participate in the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center’s People’s Choice selection process, which shall determine a People’s Choice winner for each category. These awards give the public the chance to have their say regarding the artworks they believe deserve recognition. This voting will conclude at 6:30 pm during the Artist Reception on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5:30-7 pm in the main gallery of CVAC. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, and purchase art during this free reception.

Please Review the Prospectus: 2024 Winter Exhibition PROSPECTUS
