Volunteer for the Rubber City Jazz and Blues Festival on Friday, August 25 & Saturday, August 26, 2017

Featuring many well-known national and local Jazz cats

A free, family-friendly event for the whole family!

Volunteer responsibilities include:

  • Concerts at Art Museum & Library: greet guests, provide flyers to guests, assist artists with load in and out if needed
  • Information Table at Maiden Lane: sell merchandise, provide schedules, answer questions
  • Concerts at Musica: greet artists, assist with instrument/equipment load in if needed, provide flyers to guests (note: requires heavy lifting)
  • Concerts at Hop House: greet artists, assist with instrument/equipment load in if needed, provide flyers to guests (note: requires heavy lifting)

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
