Les Délices seeks original poems from Northeast Ohio poets to be performed by distinguished broadcaster Dee Perry as part of Noel Noel, a virtual holiday concert by Les Délices, which will be available online December 10-23, 2020.
Timely and intimate, Noel Noel will blend heartfelt Carols performed by the ensemble with recited poetry to create a non-denominational/secular Lessons and Carols-type program. The poetry will be a combination of beloved favorites and local works selected through this process.
LD hopes to select 3-6 original poems that resonate with holiday themes and a spirit of hope and optimism as we navigate these difficult times. Themes around family and community; winter landscapes; holiday rituals; or any other relevant imagery are encouraged.
