We are having a contest for all Ohio artists for cash prizes and we want your art!! All types of art are encouraged: dance, writing, film, sculpture, music, quilting, etc. Photographs from our archival collections will be your inspiration!

 

First prize: $600

            Second prize: $400

            Third prize: $200

How to Enter

Step 1: View these photographs from our archival collections:

            At our launch party: September 19, 5:30-7:30pm (Refreshments! Live performance by UA dancers!)

On exhibit in our gallery: September 19, 2019 to January 19, 2020

Step 2: How do these photos inspire YOU? Imagine a piece of art that shows us. Complete a letter of intent that describes this imagined piece.

Step 3: Wait for confirmation on your letter of intent. Then, submit your inspired artwork digitally by January 19, 2020.

Step 4: Cross your fingers and wait for the jurors to announce the winners on Friday, February 21!
