About The Series:
Junie's Kids is a story of sacrifice and survival. A meditation on the black family in the late 20th Century. Milky and Junie are two young sisters whose dysfunctional relationship is put to the test after a family illness threatens to tear their unit apart. The sisters are both forced to deal with questions of the limits of love, and the often heady cost of sacrifice.
