Jobs - DEADLINE :
Communications & Marketing Intern

Here are several elements of the 2018 communications and marketing intern position:
• Manage the twice-monthly e-newsletter by curating content (including details about events diverse in category and location, creative profiles, volunteer opportunities, advocacy, and more), proofing, sending, and tracking the e-newsletter
• Help to organize and update our Google AdWords grant based on the month’s priorities
• Offer ideas and help curate interesting social media content
• Support our marketing freelance team with writing, public relations, graphic design, and other marketing tasks as assigned

We’ve found that students who get the highest quality experience from an ArtsNow internship have the following skills and expectations:
• A passion for arts, culture, and/or Summit County
• Interest in communications, public relations, branding, and/or marketing
• A love of teamwork, collaboration, and creativity
• Ability to thrive in a flexible work environment
• Ability to execute within a timeline
• An appreciation for open dialogue and bringing your authentic self to projects
• The ability to ask—ask questions, ask for help, and ask for more tasks or experiences

ArtsNow and our marketing freelance team offer a flexible plan for working hours. The intern may work with the team to find the right schedule for him or her.

To provide additional context for the position, ArtsNow’s current communications and marketing plan include three (3) main goals, representing three distinct markets:
1. Increase ArtsNow brand awareness in the broad Summit County community
2. Continue to build community buy-in among artists, possible partners and businesses
3. Establish strong credibility with potential donors and fundraise for the organization
