JOB DESCRIPTION
Here are several elements of the 2018 communications and marketing intern position:
• Manage the twice-monthly e-newsletter by curating content (including details about events diverse in category and location, creative profiles, volunteer opportunities, advocacy, and more), proofing, sending, and tracking the e-newsletter
• Help to organize and update our Google AdWords grant based on the month’s priorities
• Offer ideas and help curate interesting social media content
• Support our marketing freelance team with writing, public relations, graphic design, and other marketing tasks as assigned

A QUICK POSITION NOTE
ArtsNow and our marketing freelance team offer a flexible plan for working hours. The intern may work with the team to find the right schedule for him or her.

ORGANIZATION GOALS
To provide additional context for the position, ArtsNow’s current communications and marketing plan include three (3) main goals, representing three distinct markets:
1. Increase ArtsNow brand awareness in the broad Summit County community
2. Continue to build community buy-in among artists, possible partners and businesses
3. Establish strong credibility with potential donors and fundraise for the organization
