Full-Time/Part-Time/Seasonal: Seasonal (Summer 2022) 30 hours per week
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Education/Producer of Youth Theatre
Compensation: Hourly rate of $15/hour

STATEMENT OF JOB:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Education/Producer of Youth Theatre, the Education Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the management, and execution of Rubber City Theatre’s Akron After School Summer Program. The scope includes managing off site programming logistics, program evaluation, and assisting the Director of Education with managing staff scheduling. The Coordinator of Education Outreach will oversee implementation of evaluation activities and outcome-based assessment to measure the short-term project outcomes and long-term goals for students, teachers, schools and families.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Oversee the implementation of on-going evaluation and revision of arts education programming.
Assist the Director of Education in managing all off-site logistics in all participating schools
Assisting the Director of Education in developing curriculum and lesson plans for the program
Assist with general office duties including payroll, scheduling, maintaining statistics for grant reporting, and support of on-going support for off-site programs.
Perform site visits to evaluate and support the implementation of the Summer Program
Ability to work with both Elementary and Middle School Students
Reliable transportation
Ability to teach if needed
A love for the arts and working with young people!

QUALIFICATIONS:
​Bachelor’s Degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, business management, education, performing or visual arts or related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle projects of an administrative nature, which requires extensive confidentiality, discretion, and decision making skills
Passion for arts education and community service

CONTRACTED DATES/TIMES:May 1st 2022-August 12th 2022 (There is a possibility of extended this contract into the school year)
