Cable 9 seeks a volunteer TV host for "Artists at Work" - a television program which has been running since 2011.   Each monthly show features a painter, sculptor, photographer, jewelry maker, etc. The artist takes part in a 30 minute interview about their background and process while their work is featured throughout the show. (Some pieces are brought to the studio and others are edited in from jPegs.) You can watch recent episodes of “Artists at Work” at cable9.org.

The host of “Artists at Work” should be someone who:

  • Has a working knowledge of art & the process of creating it
  • Is connected in the local art community (so they can find & book guests)
  • Can be depended on to be on time in Macedonia monthly
  • Will be relaxed, engaged & enthusiastic on camera

Cable 9 is a nonprofit, local origination cable tv station available to approximately 18,000 homes on the Spectrum Cablesystem in northern Summit County and Aurora. Cable 9 has twice been named “Best Local Origination Station” in the country. You can learn more at cable9.org.
