Due to retirement, the Twinsburg Public Library is hiring an Administrative Assistant. This position serves as Administrative Assistant to the Library Director and performs a full range of administrative support services for the Director, Board of Trustees, Fiscal Officer and staff members with clerical, administrative and business details. Knowledge of and experience in public libraries an asset. Customers are internal staff as well the public. This position requires professional, excellent customer service skills, discretion and adherence to library values. Administrative Assistant is required to interact frequently with customers and staff, and is often the first line defense for upset customers. Duties include word processing, spreadsheets, internet software, e-mail, order processing, database software, scheduling, basic bookkeeping. Requirements: experience using Microsoft Office /Outlook; Education/experience: Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two- year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge and experience in operating computer software and hardware, especially word processing and spreadsheet programs. Knowledge operating basic office equipment (copiers, postal machines, scanners, etc.).

$15-$18/hr. based on experience. 37.5 hours/week Monday through Friday. Requires attending monthly evening meetings of Board of Trustees.
