Position Summary: Manage all aspects of special events " program development, delivery, and evaluation Establish budgets and external relationship management for fundraising events Oversee day-to-day operation of all fundraising events including all associated activities, promotion, policies and procedures, record keeping, and support for active volunteers. Requirements: Four year degree in Public Relations, Human Resources, Business Management, communications, or other related field Ability to speak to prospective donors and outside fundraiser coordinators, listen to their needs and present ideas and solutions to fit their requirements. Work with suppliers, contractors, employees, wait staff, and many other parties at the same time Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure: During an event in progress - must be able to solve problems as they arise, be hands on, and maintain professionalism Knowledge of computers to communicate, plan, budget, and organize events Ability to stay focused and organized so that the event progresses smoothly Maintain confidentiality: The reputation of the organization is rooted in its the ability to maintain the confidentiality of its clients. Professionalism: must present themselves in a dignified manner at all times to insure the excellent reputation the organization(s) have built over the years Maintain valid Ohio driver's license and current vehicle insurance. Must be able to pass a criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Federal Bureau of Investigations).
