New Horizons Band of Summit and Stark Counties is hiring a Part-Time Strings Instructor/Conductor

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with adult players of a wide range of skills. (Appx. Twenty performers in the strings ensemble)
  • Occasionally conducting the full band of 90 musicians.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with strings ensembles.
  • Experience in building ensembles.
  • Comfortable working with adult learners.
  • Very collaborative with other instructor/conducting staff

Retired instructors are very welcome to apply.
