Think Out-of-the-Box and see where your imagination takes you! Artists are sought to create unique box-themed works of art to donate for auction at the Arts Alive! awards celebration on June 15, a fundraiser benefitting community exhibitions and art programs at Summit Artspace. Creating a box is fun! A box is whatever you interpret it to be. Your box can be traditional or outlandish, literal or conceptual, sculptural or two-dimensional. You can showcase your signature style or try your hand at something new. Donate your time and talents to create artwork that incorporates a “box.” Sign up to participate by April 30. Artwork due by May 27. Artwork will be displayed and open for bidding in the Summit Artspace Transition Gallery from June 2 through the Arts Alive! celebration on June 15, 2016.
