Part-Time Teaching Artist Position Available (Paid Position)
CLASSES TAKE PLACE DURING THE SCHOOL DAY

Our organization, Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio (DCNEO), is looking to hire PART TIME Teaching Artists for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. DCNEO is a nonprofit organization that implements a 10 week – 20 session social development for 5th and 8th grade students as part of the required academic school day program (not an optional or elective program held after-school). No ballroom dance experience is necessary.
Dancing Classrooms Teaching Artists are:
-Actors, dancers, individuals who can move with rhythm
-Have excellent interpersonal skills; love kids
-Able to work in a team; work in a classroom
-Have a generous spirit
-A sense of humor, of language, of rhythm
-Willingness to travel throughout Northeast Ohio (primarily Cuyahoga and/or Summit counties)
-You will be fingerprinted with state of Ohio upon employment.
Job Details
Employment is PART TIME (4-10 hours/week depending on your availability), during the school year, between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00pm.
There is a 4 day training that will take place in July/Aug, 2019 in Broadview Heights, Ohio.

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
