PROGRAM RESERVATIONIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs a variety of clerical and secretarial duties including typing correspondence, and taking reservations. Collecting money, daily revenue balancing, greeting visitors, answering phones, and maintaining files, records and reports. Performs a wide range of program and staff scheduling, along with informational and preparatory support for programming.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of secondary education; some college work preferred in the field of administrative support, public relations, customer service, data entry, point-of-sale accounting, or equivalent. Minimum of two years’ work experience in the prior mentioned field. Strong clerical, customer service, reservation-taking, and organizational skills necessary. Experience in collection of money, balancing, scheduling and public service preferred. Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and undergo background check. Must obtain CPR certification within two months of hire. Lorain County Metro Park District policy prohibits hiring new employees who use tobacco.

RATE OF PAY
$12.17 per hour
