Seeking specialized teachers for our summer session in the areas of Music, Theatre, Visual Art, Science, and Physical Education. All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in the applied area or be a Child Care CPL 3 Lead teacher with experience in the applied area.
Hours: 7:30-4:00 PM Monday- Friday
Summer Session Dates: June 7th -August 20th
Pay: $17/hour for qualified candidates

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB (non-exempt part time)
With direction from the Learning Zone Director, will assist in implementing practices resulting in a safe and secure environment that supports holistic learning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Learning Zone Daily Responsibilities:
Direct supervision and responsibility for children on a daily basis.
Maintain good working relationships with parents and other staff.
Assist in the planning and implementation of fun, educational, and culturally relevant daily activities. All curriculum and activities should promote self-esteem.
Maintain a safe, non-judgmental, and consistent environment.
Keep accurate records concerning attendance, child progress, and other information that may be required for reports and statistical information.
Conduct assessments on assigned students.
Keep his/her own file in compliance with regulations established by the State of Ohio.
Any other duties as assigned by the Learning Zone Director, Director of Arts and Sciences or Area Coordinators
Uphold all policies of The Salvation Army and give the utmost care in upholding the philosophy as stated in its mission statement.
Represent The Salvation Army and its programs with a high degree of professionalism.
Drive Salvation Army vehicles to transport children to and from field trips while adhering to the rules and regulations from ODJFS and The Salvation Army.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
· Bachelor’s degree or a high school degree and are CPL level 3
· 21 years of age
· Valid Driver’s License
· Will be subject to a Background Check
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience with school age children in an educational setting
Valid Ohio Teaching License in the applied area

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
