Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University Presents:
Annual Art Performance Competition

The Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University is seeking diverse, talented, exciting, and entertaining people to partake in our Annual Art Performance Competition from 1- 5pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

We are seeking:                    

  • Singers
  • Dancers
  • Martial Artists
  • Musicians
  • Magicians
  • Acrobats
  • And Other Performers

To come out and show us what you got, entertain us, and share your talent with an audience. There are cash prizes for Three First Place Winners !!!, Three Second Place Winners!!!, and Three Third Place Winners!!!

Winners will also perform at The Confucius Institute’s Annual Chinese New Year Celebration, held in February 2018. The Chinese New Year Celebration is the Confucius Institute’s biggest annual celebration, so winners will get the chance to perform in front of hundreds of people.

First place winners will receive $200, second place winners will receive $150, and third place winners will receive $100 dollars.

This contest is open to people of all ages, and to non- U.S. residents as well. The deadline to register is Monday, November 13, 2017, so warm up your vocal cords, dust off your musical instruments, and stretch out for your displays of acrobatics and marital arts, and come down to the Main Classroom Auditorium on Saturday, December 21, 2017 for your Art Performance Competition.
