WHAT IS IT:
Share the stories of your community through writing! During this four-part workshop, develop your writing and editing skills while creating stories that highlight what is unique about Summit Lake.

Your instructors and mentors will be Dr. Heather Braun, English professor at The University of Akron, and Chris Horne, creator of The Devil Strip.

ALL FELLOWS RECEIVE:
• An electronic tablet for their work
• “You Can't Make This Stuff Up: The Complete Guide to Writing Creative Nonfiction, from Memoir to
Literary Journalism and Everything in Between”
• “The Best American Magazine Writing 2016”
• The opportunity to be paid for your published work!
