Unify Akron Tee Shirt Design Competition
$500 in prizes and a chance to sell your design on the Rubber City Clothing website and receive 25% from every sale!

HOW IT WORKS - RULES AND REGULATION

 

Step 1: Download the Backdraft Rewards app to register for Unify Akron

 

Step 2: Create your design using any OR all of the symbols or words in the UNIFY mural pictured above. Here is a helpful website on creating your design and placing on the template. https://artistshopshelp.threadless.com/article/666-how-does-design-placement-work

 

Step 3: Submit your design to this email address by March 15, 2021 - arevolt64@gmail.com

 

WHAT’S NEXT: VOTING

The Unify Akron x Backdraft team will display up to 10 entries on the www.arevolt64.com website by March 18, 2021 for voting.

●      The top entries

will be eligible to be voted on until April 15, 2021 with the 3 designs accumulating the most votes winning prize money!

○      1st Place - $300, 2nd Place $150, 3rd Place $50.

All 3 designs will then be added to the Rubber City Clothing Online Store by May 1st, 2021

●      Shirts will be sold for $30, with 25% from each sale going directly to the artist.

Artists with designs selected for the website voting competition will be notified by email on the morning of March 18th.

WHAT’S NEXT: GET YOUR VOTES

Get as many people as you can to vote for your design by April 15, 2021!

●      Voters can vote once or once per day.

●      It’s all about promoting your work and getting folks to go to www.arevolt64.com/unifyakronteeshirtdesigncontest to vote.

●      Winners will be notified via email on April 16th.

●      Winners will be announced to the public on Monday April 19, 2021 on the arevolt64 website and through the arevolt64 FB and IG accounts.

LIMITATIONS:

●      This contest is limited to citizens of Akron and winning artists must reside in the city of Akron city limits.

●      Avoid profanity, obscenity and inappropriate images in your designs.

●      Limit your designs to 3 or less colors as this is the limit for designs we can place on the RCC online store.

Our hope is that this contest will bring the citizens of the city of Akron together around beautiful concepts of peace, love and equality in order to unify our community as a whole. In addition, this is a great way to help struggling local artists and wanna be artists to make some money for their work with prizes and an outlet to sell their work and make some money going forward.
