After a highly successful fall session, Wandering Aesthetics is proud to announce our Winter Class Schedule for 2016. Wandering Aesthetics’ Director of Education Kyle Jozsa will lead four play-based classes designed for children ages 2.5 - 13, beginning the week of January 3, 2016.

Wandering Aesthetics uses a play-based approach to teach, guiding students to learn through imagination and experimentation.

Here are what parents and students are saying about working with Jozsa:

“Amelia LOVES it! She said, this morning on the way to camp, ‘every character has something special about them, that's what Mr. Kyle and Mr. Benjamin said.’”  – Shane Wynn

“Kyle is amazing with the kids.” – Tracey Thomas Shepard

“Gio is LOVING camp! Thanks Kyle & crew!” – Elisa Gargarella

Private lessons are also available to help students of ALL AGES prepare for auditions, roles or simply to delve deeper into the craft of acting.

For more information, interested parties may contact Education Director Kyle Jozsa via phone at 330.612.3090, email watheatre@gmail.com or by visiting www.watheatre.com/registration. YOUTH CLASSES:

Let’s Play!
Ages: 2.5 - 5 Years
Classes held at Akron Center For Art Music & Performance (ACAMP) • 118 W. Market St. • Akron, OH 44303

Drop-in: $15/Individual Class
Tuition: $165

Theatre is play.

Children constantly use their imaginations to create something out of nothing. Their lives are ones of theatricality and experimentation, discovering their world and themselves through play.

Let’s Play! uses theatrical concepts (such as: movement, voice, imagination, costumes, props) to facilitate physical, social & emotional development in your young performer. Designed for children ages 2.5 - 5, the class incorporates songs, stories and activities that use imaginative play as a foundation for learning. This is NOT a performance-based class.

Thursdays @ 4:15 PM - 5:00 PM (1/7 - 3/24)

interACT: An Ensemble Building Class
Ages: 5 - 12 Years
Classes held at Pure Intentions School of Energy • 156 W. North St. • Akron, OH 44303

Tuition: $175

Theatre is collaboration.

By working together students learn to celebrate diversity as they discover the power of positive relationships and engagement of their collective imaginations.

In this class, students will learn the basics of teamwork and how that relates to the art of theatre. Through weekly ensemble exercises, the group will learn and grow together.

*There will be a final presentation on Wednesday, March 23rd*

Wednesdays @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (1/6 - 3/23)

Once Upon A Time
Ages: 5 - 9 Years
Classes held at Akron Center For Art Music & Performance (ACAMP) • 118 W. Market St. • Akron, OH 44303

Tuition: $175

The best way to learn is to do.

Working with a scripted version of a childhood classic, (written by Kyle Jozsa and Benjamin Rexroad), students will learn theatrical basics as they bring life to the story on stage.

Using scripts, costumes and props, the students will become familiar with concepts such as stage direction, character development and the actor-director relationship.

*There will be a final presentation on Saturday, March 26th*

Saturdays @ 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM (1/9 - 3/26)

Tell Your Tale
Ages: 9 - 13 Years
Classes held at Akron Center For Art Music & Performance (ACAMP) • 118 W. Market St. • Akron, OH 44303

Tuition: $175

Theatre is storytelling.

Stories are universal, they connect us. We tell stories to understand each other and to better understand the world in which we live.

In this class, students will dive deep into their own personal narrative to develop a short solo performance. Working closely with "Master Storyteller" Kyle Jozsa, students will learn how to tell a good story by using their own life experiences.

*There will be a final presentation on Saturday, March 26th*

Saturdays @ 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (1/9 - 3/26)
