Wandering Aesthetics, Dunamis Theatre & The Spicy Lamb Farm are collaborating this summer to produce their second show for young actors in the Spicy Lamb Players’ Barn; 'The Jungle Book'. Under the direction of Kyle Jozsa, Benjamin Rexroad, and Nici Romo, this play will offer young performers an opportunity to create as an ensemble and work on their craft in a style unique to Wandering Aesthetics and Dunamis Theatre.

The companies are currently seeking actors ages 8 -18.

*Special consideration for younger performers will be given to previous Wandering Aesthetics students.*

DATES: Wednesday, April 10 & Thursday, April 11

TIME: 30-Minute Slots available from 5 PM - 9 PM

LOCATION: The Center (118 W. Market St. • Akron, OH 44303)

WHAT TO PREPARE: Actors are encouraged to prepare a 60-to-90 second monologue or memorized piece of text of their choosing. Actors should also be prepared to read or improvise.

**Resumes and headshots are not required but will be accepted.**

***PLEASE COME WITH ANY KNOWN SUMMER CONFLICTS.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

'The Jungle Book' is a modern adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 classic, "The Jungle Book". The story, or collection of stories, follows a number of animals, such as Shere Khan the tiger, Baloo the bear, and the principal character, the "man-cub" known as Mowgli.

Rehearsals will begin in May. Performances will run Aug. 2, 3, 8 & 9 at 7:00pm, Aug. 4 at 2:00pm & August 10 at 5:00pm

All performances will take place at The Spicy Lamb Farm • 6560 Akron Peninsula Rd. • Peninsula, OH 44264
