YOUTH AUDITIONS: The Velveteen Rabbit

True loves comes in many forms– many of which are not romantic-type loves. The Velveteen Rabbit is a story about the transformative power of love and the magic of childhood.

Cast Size: Flexible, Between 4 – 9 (all roles available to actors of any race, gender, nationality, etc.) • Age Range: 6 – 16
Audition Material/Prep: 6o – 90 second memorized poem or monologue
Audition & Performance Location: The Akron Center for Art, Music, & Performance (118 W. Market St. in Akron)
Audition Dates: Sunday, December 15th from 12 – 5 PM & Monday, December 16th from 3 – 8 PM
Performance Dates: Friday, Feb. 14 – Sunday, Feb. 16 & Thursday, Feb. 20 – Sunday, Feb. 23
Rehearsal Info: Rehearsals start Sunday, Jan. 5 • Rehearsals will run Sunday – Thursday • Sundays from 1 pm – 4 pm • Monday – Thursday from 5 pm – 8 pm
