True loves comes in many forms– many of which are not romantic-type loves. The Velveteen Rabbit is a story about the transformative power of love and the magic of childhood.
Cast Size: Flexible, Between 4 - 9 (all roles available to actors of any race, gender, nationality, etc.) • Age Range: 6 - 16
Audition Material/Prep: 6o - 90 second memorized poem or monologue
Audition & Performance Location: The Akron Center for Art, Music, & Performance (118 W. Market St. in Akron)
Audition Dates: Sunday, December 15th from 12 - 5 PM & Monday, December 16th from 3 - 8 PM
Performance Dates: Friday, Feb. 14 - Sunday, Feb. 16 & Thursday, Feb. 20 - Sunday, Feb. 23
Rehearsal Info: Rehearsals start Sunday, Jan. 5 • Rehearsals will run Sunday - Thursday • Sundays from 1 pm - 4 pm • Monday - Thursday from 5 pm - 8 pm
