41ST TUBACHRISTMAS - OUTDOORS

TubaChristmas is moving outside for 2021!  A gift to the community from The University of Akron’s School of Music and E.J. Thomas Hall, TubaChristmas features festively-decorated tubas, sing-alongs, and beloved tuba maestro Tucker Jolly.

Outside on the E.J. Thomas Hall fountain sidewalk, 198 Hill St.

TubaChristmas is moving outside for 2021!  A gift to the community from The University of Akron’s School of Music and E.J. Thomas Hall, TubaChristmas features festively-decorated tubas, sing-alongs, and beloved tuba maestro Tucker Jolly, in a special open air concert.

TubaChristmas will be held OUTSIDE on the E.J. Thomas Hall sidewalk near the fountain.  One performance only on Saturday, December 18 at 12:00 noon.  Audience members may utilize the sidewalks, steps, and picnic pavilions on either side of the sidewalk for seating.  Please bundle up and bring a lawn chair!

In case of rain, TubaChristmas will be held in the North Parking Deck on Buchtel Avenue, 4th level, across from Guzzetta Hall.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
