7th Annual Craft Mart

The IdiosynCRAFTic Fair! Akron, Ohio’s marketplace for all things handmade.

The Rubber City’s Longest-Running Indie Handmade Marketplace.  In 2013, Crafty Mart was named one of the “Best of the City” by Akronlife Magazine.  It was voted “Favorite Place to Do Your Holiday Shopping” by readers of the Akron Empire in 2014.  In 2015 Crafty Mart was awarded the Zenith Award by the Akron/Summit Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in the category of “Best Retail Therapy”.

From a wide variety of handmade crafts and gifts, to workshops – it’s all here at the 7th Annual Crafty Mart.  While your shopping, enjoy a drink (available at each venue) and something wonderful to eat.  You’re sure to enjoy the amazing and unique items available from all of our vendors along with a little holiday “spirit”.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
