A Fugitive's Path: Escape on the Underground Railroad

Experience the emotional and vivid recreation of the trials of the Underground Railroad and the sectional issues that led to the American Civil War.   Play the role of fugitive slaves struggling to reach freedom in the North.  Immersed in a series of vignettes, escape from the grasp of an overseer after a slave auction and continue your journey of survival as you encounter runaways, abolitionists and bounty hunters.  Explore the social, political and economic impact of the institution of slavery on Northeast Ohio.

Reservations are required for this program.  Times vary.  Program Length is 90 minutes.  This is an indoor/outdoor activity and participants are asked to dress for the weather.
