AKRON Film +PRIDE is presented through the Akron Pride Initiative (API). API has partnered with The Nightlight Cinema to provide a LGBT focused monthly film series. AKRON Film +PRIDE represents the collaborative efforts of Akron Pride Initiative, The Nightlight Cinema and Summit County Public Health along with financial support from The Gay Community Endowment Fund of The Akron Community Foundation.

AF+P films are presented on the second Monday of each month, February through November. Tickets are available at The Nightlight Cinema.

Five Dances
The coming of age tale of an extraordinarily gifted young dancer recently arrived in New York City, FIVE DANCES is a visually sensual glimpse of life and first love in the downtown contemporary dance world.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
