Akron Symphony Orchestra Radio Hour

The Akron Symphony Orchestra will debut the ASO Radio Hour on April 3 at 7 p.m.

The ASO Radio Hour will be a limited-run rebroadcast of some of the most popular concert performances from the Orchestra’s archives. The series will run every Friday at 7 p.m. on the Orchestra’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The first concert in the series will be Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, which was performed on February 9, 2008, under the direction of guest conductor Benjamin Zander.

The remaining concerts in the series will include a wide variety of audience favorites hand-selected by Maestro Christopher Wilkins. Look for our special program announcement each week on our social media channels.

Each broadcast of the ASO Radio Hour will only be available for 72 hours before we have to put it back into the archives — so be sure to tune in!
