Akron Welcomes FRONT International: An American City

FRONT International and presenting partner Akron Art Museum along with ArtNow will host an interactive presentation by FRONT founder and Executive Director Fred Bidwell. FRONT’s inaugural art triennial, An American City, opens this summer with a region-wide exhibition of over 100 artists. Learn about the exhibition, its artists and programs that are part of North America’s largest contemporary art triennial taking place July 14-September 30, 2018.
You are invited to attend this public forum to hear about the background, purpose and planning for this ambitious exhibition project opening this summer and bringing national and international attention and tourism to Akron and Northeast Ohio. Learn how you can connect and engage with this important and exciting event!

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
