Celebrate the return of the Kulas Concert Series’ in-person concert season with an exciting and innovative reed quintet on Sunday, October 10 at 3:00 p.m. in Guzzetta Recital Hall.
Celebrating their 13th year and hailed by Fanfare Magazine for their “imagination, infallible musicality, and huge vitality,” the Akropolis Reed Quintet is the first ensemble of its kind to grace the Billboard charts. They have won seven national chamber music prizes including the Fischoff Gold Medal and Fischoff Educator Award. Sparking joy and wonder, Akropolis are “a collective voice driven by real excitement and a sense of adventure” (The Wire).
The concert is part of UA’s Kulas Concert Series, generously supported by the Cleveland-based Kulas Foundation.
Audience capacity will be dictated by COVID and social distancing restrictions in force at the time of the concert.

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
