AkRun and Play: 5K and Park East Celebration

Join Torchbearers for our 13th annual and final 5K run.

You’re invited to join Torchbearers for the 13th and final AkRun 5k as we run/walk along the scenic Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail on Sept. 21, 2019.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at Spaghetti Warehouse. The race kicks off at 11 a.m. and will finish with a family friendly celebration at Park East, marking the completion of the 2019 Torchbearers’ fitness trail project! Park East is 0.5 miles south of the race starting point.

The Park East Celebration starts at 11 a.m. Bring the family and enjoy food, music, games, face painting and more!

Cost: $40/person Advanced Registration $50/person Day-of Registration. The first 250 registrants will receive an official t-shirt.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
