SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2023 AT 10 AM – 4 PM

 

This interactive, hands-on event will feature local experts and train enthusiasts exhibiting their model trains and sharing their knowledge! Visitors will view model train exhibits, take the controls of a model train, design a train car with Lego bricks, and even construct a wooden track of their own!

Add to the fun by hopping on the Little Roaming Railroad! Train ride tickets sold separately in our online shop or at the event. $5 per ride.

PARKING INFO

Lock 3, located in the middle of downtown Akron, is surrounded by several parking decks and a surface lot. The decks include the Summit County Parking Deck on High Street, the O’Neil’s Parking Deck on State Street and the Cascade Parking Facility off of Mill Street. Surface lots are located on W. Bowery Street west of Main Street.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
