All Aboard the Akron Express! This fun-filled, train-themed, family event will offer a variety of train displays, interactive play stations, representatives from the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and more!
Do you love trains? Then join us for a weekend of trains, trains, and more trains!
This 2-day event will feature:
* A large model train display by Burning River N Society
* “Be the Engineer” when you take the controls of a G-Scale model train
* Build your own railroad with wooden trains and track play
* M&M Railroad Trackless Train
* Learn all about the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, their history and current programs
* Face painting & temporary train tattoos
* Story time
* Movie showing of “Dinosaur Train Loves Trains”
* PLUS admission to the Akron Children’s Museum and our 22+ exhibits, including our Akron Express train exhibit

PARKING INFO
Lock 3, located in the middle of downtown Akron, is surrounded by several parking decks and a surface lot. The decks include the Summit County Parking Deck on High Street, the O’Neil’s Parking Deck on State Street and the Cascade Parking Facility off of Mill Street. Surface lots are located on W. Bowery Street west of Main Street.
