Alternate Approaches: Featuring Seventeen Visual Artists from Akron Art Prize 2016

Seventeen visual artists selected from Akron Art Prize 2016 will be represented at Peg’s Gallery in Hudson from Wednesday, June 14 – August 21, 2017 at the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation. Alternate Approaches: Curated by Courtney Cable

Seventeen visual artists will be represented at Peg’s Gallery in Hudson from Wednesday, June 14 – August 21, 2017 at the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation.

Curated by Courtney Cable, coordinator of *Akron Art Prize 2014-2016, this show features a range of visual artists, whose work exhibited fine craftsmanship skills in diverse media and alternate approaches to making.

Artists include: Patty Altier, Elizabeth Bennett, Mary Clark, Sarah Costic, Savanna-Nicole Daily, Dale Dong, Melissa Hughes, Linda Hutchinson, Jasmine Kornel, Susan Mencini, Matt Miller, Kit Palencar, Brian Parsons, Nicklaus Pfeil, Isin Sezer, Paula Singleton, and Bryan Votaw.

A Meet-the-Artist Reception will take place Wednesday, June 14 from 4-6 pm, with artist talks beginning at 5 pm.
