CVAC to host the Winter Exhibition ARTISTS RECEPTION February 1st

Cuyahoga Valley Art Center presents their

WINTER EXHIBITION
January 15 – February 21, 2019

CVAC is excited to provide the community with an insider’s look into the amazing work that artists have created during these chilly winter months. The subject matter of the art work did not have to be related to winter, CVAC is simply seeking to reveal the breadth of interests and investigations from our participants recent paintings, sculptures, ceramics and works on paper.

This popular annual exhibition opens on Tuesday, January 15th, kicking off the People’s Choice selection process. We invite the public to participate in our People’s Choice voting process that will select the Best of Show, Second-place and Third-place awards.

This voting will conclude at 6:30 PM during the public artists reception to be held on Friday, February 1st from 5:30-7:00 PM in the main gallery.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
