Arts at Holy Trinity: Akron Firestone High School

Join us for a FREE concert at Holy Trinity on May 15, 2016. The Akron Firestone Choirs: Symphonic Choir, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform at 4 p.m. A reception follows the event. Open to the public.rnrn

Firestone High School is home to the Akron School for the Arts program.  Students in the program are exposed to all art forms through collaborative projects, guest artist forums, and departmental presentations.

The auditioned ensembles, Symphonic Choir, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, the Madrigal Singers, and the Men’s and Women’s Choirs have won awards at the local and state levels.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
