ArtSparks Open Rehearsal at Summit Artspace

Join us for a FREE open rehearsal featuring ArtSparks student performers on the 3rd Floor of Summit Artspace! This is your behind-the-scenes opportunity to see how an incredible nonprofit arts education organization is making a big difference in greater Akron classrooms.
Through in-school partnerships, residencies, workshops, and public performances, ArtSparks brings joyful dance and music programming to students with exceptionalities and to students who may not have the opportunity to experience the art of dance.
From 4-6:30 pm, witness firsthand how ArtSparks instills in participants discipline, a standard of excellence, and a belief in themselves that can carry over into all aspects of their lives.
Performances of the work-in-progress will take place at 5:00 and 6:15 pm. Live music is an essential component of an ArtSparks experience as it allows for continual, energetic movement and the integration of musical concepts in real time.
As always, Summit Artspace galleries and artist studios are open throughout the evening for viewing, shopping, and chats with local artists.
FREE admission and FREE parking in the Summit Artspace lot and the Broadway lot between Summit Artspace and the Akron Art Museum.
