The Akron Symphony Orchestra recorded live at E.J. Thomas Hall on Nov. 7, 2014, performing Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5, while guest Joshua Bell performs Bruch’s Violin Concerto.

The Akron Symphony Orchestra in concert, recorded live at E.J. Thomas Hall on November 7, 2014. Conductor Christopher Wilkins leads the Akron Symphony Orchestra in Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5, while guest artist Joshua Bell performs Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1.

This concert is presented as part of the Akron Symphony Orchestra Radio Hour, a weekly re-broadcast of past concerts from our archives. We are pleased to bring these concerts to you while our concert season is paused due to the coronavirus pandemic. This concert was co-presented in collaboration with The Tuesday Musical Association.
