AUDITIONS for Doric Wilson's

Looking for actors to portray the events that led up to the Stonewall Riots.

Wild Hair Theatre Collective announces auditions for Doric Wilson’s “Street Theater”, a comic imagining of the events leading up to the Stonewall Riots on June 28, 1969. This production is being produced in collaboration with Partners for Theatre and will be a fundraiser for CANAPI and GLSEN.
Auditions will be held on May 13 and 14 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Performance dates will be June 28, 29, and 30th, (exactly 50 years to the same weekend of the original event) and again on Akron Pride Weekend August 23, and 24, 2019. A preview scene will presented at Summit StageFest on June1 in Akron. These are MUST ATTEND DATES. Auditions are open to EVERYONE but ALL LGBTQIA theatre artists are STRONGLY encouraged to audition or work crew.
